APRSgo for Android & IOS
- APRSgo is an app that beacons your position to APRS Servers (APRS-IS) as you move.
- The app operates in the background, even when your screen is off or you are working with other apps.
- This app is designed to be lightweight and straightforward, displaying only your GPS coordinates and the last beacon time.
- It does not display a map.

Position Beacons Interval
- Fixed Timing: Send location beacons at regular, fixed intervals.
- Smart Beaconing: Adjusts the beacon interval based on your speed, providing more frequent updates when you're moving faster.

Settings
- MyCall: Your callsign in the format SV2AGW-SSID (SSID is a number from 1 to 12).
- Password: The password needed by APRS Servers to verify your identity. You can obtain it from your local APRS coordinator or by contacting us via the contact page. If you dont have a password use -1 it will display your position to all users connected to this server.
- APRS Server: Select the server according to your continent (e.g., Asia, Europe, NA, etc.).
- Icon: Choose an icon based on your activity (e.g., car, running, horse, etc.).
- Beacon Interval: Choose either Smart Beaconing or a fixed interval.

Request APRS Server Password
- If you need a password to connect to an APRS server, please request it here. This password helps verify your identity as a licensed HAM operator.
- Make sure to include a copy of your HAM license for verification. The verification process typically checks your callsign and license details in public records.

CAUTION
- If you are using other programs that connect to APRS servers, there is a possibility that APRSgo may conflict with them. To avoid this issue, it is recommended to choose an APRS server located on a different continent. For example, if you are in the USA, consider selecting a server in Asia (such as asia.aprs2.net).
